Kim Arnold

Kim has recently moved to the Isle of Wight to take up the post of Sport Studies teacher.
Although born in Lancashire, Kim spent much of her childhood living on Anglesey, before moving back to North Manchester as a teenager.
Here she studied Applied Sports Science (Human Performance) at the University of Salford, before gaining a PGDE at the University of Bolton. She has previously taught various levels of Sport Studies courses at Stockport College.
Kim has various coaching qualifications and loves most sports. Kim has played competitive football since the age of 11, in the Northern Premier League, and at County level. Since moving to the Isle of Wight she now plays centre midfield for Shanklin Ladies Football Club. When not training she can often be found outdoors, jogging on the beach and she is enjoying island life.
Kim is really pleased to be given the opportunity to introduce Sports into the 6th form and is excited to meet the students.
