Why Choose F6rm?

F6rm is not like school!
If you are academically minded and are thinking of university, A Levels are the traditional route that also keeps your options open. You will leave your less favoured subjects behind to focus on the ones that really interest you.
You will need at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (some subjects require a higher grade) and take four AS Levels in year one. In year two go on to take three or four subjects on to the full A2.
As a college student you will be expected to work hard, but it’s not all work and no play. As a diverse community it’s easy to make new friends. Classes are friendly and interactive and during induction week there will be ‘ice-breaking’ and team building exercises to help you settle in and enable you to enjoy your learning. We believe enrichment is very important part of student life. You will get the chance to take part in lots of fun activities while you are on your courses. You can develop new skills, gain confidence, have new experiences, visit different places, meet new and interesting people, and generally have fun.
Paige Neviani, 16I really enjoy the course because it allows a wild, creative side of me and I can express my emotions through photographs
Jodie Starling, 17Photography is very inspiring. It helps you to think openly and develop new ideas
Abbie Steel, 17The best thing for me has been learning how to use my camera properly by being taught the basic camera skills and other useful techniques
Lauren Scovell, 16There are lots of opportunities to have fun and meet new friends. This course is very good because you are learning as well as enjoying yourself
Megan Edmonds, 17Photography has been a big eye opener for me as I have been able to express myself through practical projects that have taught me the importance of presentation. The range of options we were given pushed me out of my comfort zone to discover other areas of photography.”
Jade Lovely, 18Photography at the 6form is great. The resources are fantastic and the teachers are really helpful
Romana Beale, 17A really interesting fun A level to choose. You learn so much about how to use a camera and how to take good, interesting pictures. I would definitely recommend it
Natalie Rozanska (16)I have excellent teachers who treat us all like adults. Induction week made it very easy to make new friends. I like how all the teachers are up to date with their subjects, especially newest study cases in things like Psychology. I particularly like how every teacher mentions about the learning techniques and helps us to find our best ways of learning. Once I’ve got my A Levels I plan to go to a Russell Group university to study Experimental Psychology and/or English Literature. I definitely recommend F6rm as it a very friendly atmosphere and a great education.
