Georgina Aitken
Georgina Aitken studied Chemistry at Sussex Univeristy. This was followed by a doctorate in the ‘Reactivity of Gas Phase Transition Metal Complexes’. Following this she did postgraduate research at Oxford. She was then accepted onto the Foyle foundation ‘Inspire PGCE’ programme at Imperial College.
Georgina still publishes papers alongside her teaching career and enjoys teaching AS and A2 level chemistry at the Isle of Wight F6rm.
