Drew Buglass

After school I studied Music and then continued my studies at University moving into TV & Radio Production. I spent the next six years working across various genres of television and Film in a variety of roles from Runner, to Researcher and Assistant Director. Originally I started in entertainment programmes at Granada Studios in Manchester, working on programmes such as 60 Minute Makeover, Stars in Their Eyes, Mastermind, Question of Sport and later Most Haunted, as well as many others.
I then moved over to the BBC working on current affairs programmes and documentaries, some of which were Real Story with Fiona Bruce and Panorama.
Eventually I moved into Drama and Film working on a variety of productions for cinema and television including IDEAL with Johnny Vegas, Channel4’s Poppy Shakespeare, Waterloo Road, The Royle Family and BAFTA award winning dramas, Boy A and The Mark of Cain.
After choosing to begin teaching, I studied at Bolton University in order to gain my PGDE, and spent the next two years working in Cumbria, teaching across diplomas, GCSEs and A-Levels in Film and Media, before moving down to the island in order to work at the F6rm here.
