Angela Janus

I started out as a brass player when I was very young becoming British Under 18 Champion at 11 years old. I have always had a passion for performance and direction, winning awards in both but my major love is the voice and the reason I became a vocal specialist following my BA in Music (Performance Arts).
I have worked as a professional performer/ director and taught both adults and children in the Arts until moving to the Island where I now teach A level Music and Performance Studies in the 6th form and vocals on the Degree course at Platform One College of Music. I particularly enjoyed co-producing music videos and working in film and television and hope to be able to bring all my experience together in the 6th form to inspire young people to love music and the arts as much as I do.
